Pobal Community Graffiti Reduction Programme

Pobal's Community Graffiti Reduction Programme is sponsored by the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform, the Department of Environment Heritage and Local Government and the Department of Community Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs. The programme aims to reduce the level of graffiti nationwide, and in 2008 up to €4 million is being made available to fund graffiti removal projects.

The community graffiti reduction programme aims:

• To support an immediate reduction in the extent and impact of graffiti within the communities who participate in the programme;


• To develop local mechanisms within these communities to support the long-term reduction of incidences of graffiti.

The Real Dirtbusters are delighted to have been awarded this contract and be included in the framework agreement. The Real Dirtbusters look forward to working closely with Pobal over next two years toward improving the living environment around Ireland.
